Frequently asked questions
What happens next after I sign up?
If necessary, our team or our partners will be in touch to install a data connection tool on your server, which takes approximately 10 minutes. If you already have the tool installed from working with us before, there is no need for our team to give you a call. We will keep moving forward with getting your codes and reports ready.
How can I be sure my data is kept secure once integrated with Vetsource Data Services?
How do I access my monthly reports?
You will receive an email each month when your new reports are ready to view in your portal.
How are patients identified as an allergic dermatitis, osteoarthritis, and parasiticide-purchasing Patient for these reports?
Vetsource identifies patients in a specific disease category using a set of complex rules to identify relevant patients based on their transactional history (veterinary service and product purchasing behavior). To give an example, in the Osteoarthritis category, a single Librela or Solensia transaction would qualify a patient as a chronic osteoarthritis patient, while an NSAID patient would be identified after making multiple purchases, excluding those that may be attributed to other causes (such as surgery, dental, dermatology inflammation, or vaccine pain/swelling).
