Most orders ship for free!
- Some items do have different shipping types and costs, detailed below.
- Please note that pet food is not available for delivery to Alaska or Hawaii and is not eligible for expedited shipping.
- Some items may ship separately, and multiple shipping rates may apply depending on the items ordered (see Special Shipping below). Clients can always see final shipping costs and estimated transit times during checkout.
Please add an additional 1-2 days for veterinary approval for all prescription items.
Standard shipping
These rates apply to all orders except AutoShip and RemindMeSM, heavy, temperature-controlled, and federally controlled items. Please see Special Shipping below for rates for those items.

Expedited shipping
All UPS expedited shipping options must be sent to a physical address — P.O. Boxes are not allowed for expedited orders. Some items are not available for expedited shipping, such as items on AutoShip or RemindMe and food products.
Prescription items require veterinary approval before they can be shipped. Orders will arrive within the chosen time frame after veterinary approval is received. Please note that expedited shipping time frames are business days only — weekends and holidays are not included.

Heavy items
(Pet food is not included in this category.)
Items weighing more than 3 pounds will be shipped separately via USPS bulk mail. The cost is $6.95 plus $0.30 per pound over 3 lbs.
Temperature-controlled shipments
Items that require temperature control, such as insulin, are shipped UPS Next Business Day PM for a flat fee of $19.95.
All prescription items require veterinary approval before they can be shipped — orders will arrive the next business day after veterinary approval is received.
Temperature-controlled items ship Monday-Thursday only and will not be processed the day before a major holiday. If there are extreme temperatures in the area your client is shipping to, please consider choosing a location where someone is available to receive the package promptly.
Controlled substances
Some prescription items contain federally controlled substances and require an adult signature upon delivery.
These items will ship via UPS ground for $6.95 and require a physical address (they cannot be delivered to a P.O. Box).
